Amy Moritz
Program Director
Amy Moritz grew up in Glenwood Springs performing at every opportunity available. After graduating from Glenwood Springs High School in 2001 she attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, and received her Bachelors in Music Education. After teaching both Middle School Drama and Choir she moved on to Elementary Music in the Boulder Valley School District. Amy moved back to the valley in 2008 and took the music teacher position at Glenwood Springs Elementary School. She currently is the Theater Director at Glenwood Springs High School. In her free time she loves to perform in various community productions. Her most recent performances have been:
-Cosette in "Les Miserables" 2014, Defiance Community players
-Soupy Sue in "Urinetown" 2012, Defiance Community Players
-Ensamble in "Hairspray" 2011, Defiance Community Theatre
-Dorothy in "The Wiz" 2009, Defiance Community Theatre
-Dorothy in "The Wizard of oZ" 2000, Aspen Community Theatre
Amy has a love of teaching children and helping them to create performances that leave a lasting impression on both the audience and themselves. Music and performing have always been an outlet and a tool for Amy and watching other children gain a similar experience of growth is her true passion.

Ami Schibi
Children's Director, Costumer & Choreographer
Ami Schibi’s dedication to children extends far beyond the nurturing and education of her own two daughters and son. She has shared her gifts in our community as choreographer, teacher, dancer, and director in children's and community musical theater projects. She has taught preschool, kindergarten and music at the Garden School.
Ami believes music and movement exist everywhere in life and need only to be nurtured in children in order to grow. Ami's strengths lie in uncovering these natural capabilities in a way that delights and inspires children. Her dynamic approach includes many different modes of musical expression - - always fun!
